As a Sod Farm Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our sod farm, ensuring the production of high-quality turf grass for our clients.
You will be responsible for managing the entire sod farming process, from seed selection to harvesting and delivery.
Your primary goal is to maximize production efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of sod farm production, including horticultural planning, harvesting, and loading.
Manage equipment maintenance to ensure optimal farm operations.
Lead and manage the farm team, fostering a productive and harmonious work environment.
Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.
Maintain accurate records related to farming operations, including inventory, crop yields, and expenses.
Generate reports and analyze data to make informed decisions.
Qualifications
Sod Farm Management Experience
Experience with farm equipment is essential.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to work Monday to Friday between 7:30am - 5:30pm.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
