Essential Responsibilities
Manages a wide-range of marketing communication projects with limited direction, while collaborating with internal team members and external partners.
Demonstrates strong writing skills for a variety of platforms and needs (e.
g.
earned media, paid media, website, collateral), both internally and externally facing, with a keen ability to identify story angles while closely following AP style guidelines.
Maintains knowledge of hospital-based operations, service lines and physician relations and preserves collaborative working relationships with enterprise and physician teams.
Work with communications leadership to set measurable objectives and metrics, consistently evaluates current practices to identify opportunity areas to evolve and reports outcomes.
Aligns online presence with strategic goals by maintaining website and intranet presence, as needed.
Plans and prepares both customer and employee communication materials in alignment with hospital and group leadership.
Ensure the overall communications approach and deliverables align with communications best practices, corporate brand standards, and reflect the company culture, brand, mission, vision and values.
Develops and executes internal communication strategies that promote transparency, engagement and alignment across the organization.
Identifies and proactively executes story ideation and pitches to media outlets, securing measurable media coverage in target markets.
Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field required.
Five to seven years experience in Marketing/Communications required.
Hospital or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
