RESIDENT SERVICES DIRECTOR - Luxury Retirement Community

POSITION SUMMARY Assists residents in assimilating into our community, provides appropriate resources as necessary, and coordinates the move-in of new residents or transfers between lifestyles of established residents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are normal for this position.

· Makes all residents, whether new move-ins or those who are already established, feel at home by providing the highest standard of customer service.
· Establishes and maintains relationships with our preferred providers for primary care, home care, therapy, private duty in order to recommend appropriate services in the community for our residents.
· Identifies residents with particular physical or mental needs and recommends necessary services.
Follows up with visits and phone calls until situation is resolved or improved.
· Tracks resident hospitalization and emergency room visits.
Visits residents while out of the community.
· Participates in coordination of care with Community wellness providers and home health agency provider.
· Assists in the transition of residents from the Independent to the Assisted Living Community and/or Memory Care.
· Maintains awareness of residents who are not feeling well.
Visits personally and by phone.
· Coordinate new resident orientation.
· Assists in event marketing both internally and externally.
· Other duties as assigned.
