Job Description Engineering internship students at Solar Stik, Inc.
are considered to be an integral part of the Engineering staff and are provided with tasks that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.
Under guidance of the senior engineering staff, the students will be assigned to teams associated with ongoing production and Research & Design programs.
Description of Duties Assist Engineering team with creating schematic and wiring diagrams for new products.
Assist Engineering team with building prototypes, performing product tests, troubleshooting, and analyzing test results.
Assist Engineering team with the documentation of new and modified products.
Analyze existing product designs for areas where the electrical design may be improved.
Implement and document changes as required for ECO's.
Misc.
tasks as defined by the Engineering team and Director of Technology.
Qualifications and Education Requirements Enrolled full-time and pursuing B.
A.
S.
in Electrical Engineering with completion of Junior year from an accredited college/university.
Familiarity with SolidWorks Electrical software.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Detail oriented, with ability to work autonomously.
Ability to follow written and verbal instruction.
