We are excited for our growing infant classroom.
We are looking for a candidate that loves and cares for children and has a passion for Early Educational Development.
* Assist group supervisor with both long- and short-range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.
* Classroom teaching involving explaining an activity, engaging children in the activity and supervising their work (i.
e.
standing, walking, bending or squatting)
* Provide input of children's development.
* Maintain daily open communication with parents.
* Keep accident reports.
* Maintain anecdotal records.
* Diapering and assist toileting.
* Maintain confidentiality.
* Arrange a classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy.
*Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
*
* Inspect and replace damaged or lost materials.
* Attend in-service and staff meetings.
* Keep all viable paperwork such as records, attendance and timesheets.
* Meet all applicable licensing regulations.
* Lifting and carrying children.
* General cleaning and sanitation including but not limited to sweep, mop, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and taking the trash out.
* Lifting or moving equipment such as cots, shelves, tables, chairs, and cubbies.
* Bend, stoop, kneel, sit or stand for long periods throughout the day.
Requirements for position:
OEL Child Care Training completed prior to hire
DCF 45 Hour Training Completed within first 30 days
Pass or have level 2 background screening
Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Training - completed within first 30 days
CDA is FREE and Provided by Kid City USA as long as employed
We will train the perfect candidate!!!
Position is Monday - Friday, hours are from 12:00pm -5:30pm with opportuinty for more hours and growth.
No weekends, all major holidays we are CLOSED!
