I have had this tall grandfather clock for over 50 years.
It was reported to be 150 years old at the time I acquired in 1968.
The grandfather clock case is of fine mahogany wood.
Still polishes just like when brand new.
Clock face has oval hand painted farm scene.
I have original key to door that opens showing pendulum and weights.
It can still be wound with the key for an 8-day movement.
The "chime" is a wound coil spring that goes "boing" when struck by the small hammer.
